Show Me the Natural State

The other night I was lying in bed, trying to convince myself that sleep was a good thing, when a funny thought struck me. I have no idea why this popped into my head, but it occurred to me that it is horrible the "Show Me State: sits right on top of the "Natural State".
I've had problems with Arkansas's nickname ever since I read on an upcoming events list, "Clogging in the Natural State." That brought to mind some rather unpleasant images. Why is Arkansas called the Natural State anyway? Hmm. I suppose now I will be busy pondering these musings, since evidently I have no life. Seriously, who stays up thinking about these things? Now you know why I need a padded cell!
